Overpriced, but a decent read

I'd rate this much higher if the first and second book weren't so miniscule. Both of them together make up a short book. The first book was split in a random place. I like the characters and the plot is fine for a YA fantasy, but the price is too high to get more than a three star rating.
I'd rather pay a full price for a full book than be nickeled and dimed to death paying for three slim volumes that will be the equivalent in price.

Dragon Stone Saga too short for 2 books

I must admit that I did enjoy both books, but as an avid reader of Tom Clancy, the Lord of the Rings and other 900 page books I do not see the need for 3 books other than milking the readers. These books are short enough that there should have been one book for all 3 books. I will not entertain the idea of buying another Kristian Alva book other than Book 3 of the Dragon Stone Saga

For fans of fantasy. The world is easily recognisable, with elements (mining dwarves, mysterious elves) that fit in the genre. The various twists are also consistent, as an evil king continues to seek world domination
